Library Books ATM
Contra Costa County Library in California is getting ATMs that dispense library books in four locations around the county, with the first in a Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) station. The machines hold from 270-400 books. Patrons select books from a list of genres, and the machine authenticates their library card and dispenses the chosen book along with a receipt; the book can be returned to the ATM and is immediately available for other patrons.
